Jenni Lewin-Turner
Director, Urbanflo Creative
Jenni has maintained a long portfolio career as an international creative producer, cultural broker, consultant, researcher and curator.
She holds two MAs: in Cultural Leadership and Media Practice for Development & Social Change. She is also the founding director of Urbanflo Creative, a socially engaged arts agency championing equity and excellence in the sector.
Internationally, Jenni has developed numerous participatory, collaborative projects such as ‘6° International Creative Exchange’ and the ‘neXus’ touring programme – designed to establish an innovative creative platform to connect communities across geographical and social divides. She also works closely with Vyrstaat Arts Festival and Pan African Creative Exchange (PACE) in South Africa, Lagos Fringe Festival in Nigeria, the Barbados Cultural Foundation and the University of Ghana.
Amongst her more local UK commitments, Jenni is currently the lead consultant on Brighton & Hove City Council’s Cultural Framework Strategy Inclusion Strand and is the Creative Producer for the Cultural Summit “Your City, Your Art”. Jenni serves on the boards of Brighton People’s Theatre, Creative Future and Brighton Fringe and is an associate consultant with Brighton Pride and Sussex Festival of Performing Arts.
