About the role

Join us at Brighton and Hove City Council to build on our successful track record of supporting the arts and culture at this important time, as we focus on recovery and future growth.  This role is at the heart of the city’s creative ambitions, driving forward new initiatives, optimising our cultural assets and bringing partners together.   The city’s cultural recovery plan provides a backdrop to the well-advanced suite of initiatives in train.   The post holder will look to the future and the delivery of successful outcomes with major projects delivered through partnership working.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious, professional manager who can operate effectively within a corporate environment whilst managing multiple external partnerships. Experienced at preparing funding bids and at seeing emerging opportunities for further sector development, the successful candidate will produce complex reports for internal and external purposes.

Applications from candidates working in adjacent sectors, for example in tourism or community development, are welcome.  This post is suitable for part office/part home working.
