Following the open call, three shortlisted artists will be provided with a full brief and a fee of £500 to outline their initial approach to present to the selection panel. There is a total budget of £38,500 + VAT for the selected artist for the commission, to cover the artist’s fee and all fabrication, installation and associated costs.

The successful artist will need to be available to start as soon as possible, to develop detailed proposals for the commission. They will then manage the fabrication and installation stages, so ideally require experience of this.

Brookworth Homes is particularly interested in receiving applications from artists based in the Brighton & Hove area, or from those who have a good knowledge of this part of East Sussex.
