A brand new funding and support programme for UK-based artists offering £3.6 million of funding designed to help them develop their art by using immersive technologies. Artists at all levels of experience are invited to apply, to explore, experiment or expand how they work with this exciting field of practice.

Immersive arts means different things to different people, but we define it as making art with technology to actively involve an audience.

Think virtual, extended and augmented realities:

• Engaging multiple senses
• Bridging the gaps between physical and digital spaces
• Connecting people to each other and the environment
• Changing the way we think and create.

You don’t have to be tech-savvy (though you can be) to apply. All you need is a curious mind and a creative practice. Then, through a mix of funding, training, research and events, Immersive Arts will support you to figure out what/ how you want to develop and create.
