This project’s overarching purpose will be to transform vacant spaces within the City Council’s commercial portfolio into vibrant hubs of creativity and enable local artists and creative organisations to thrive.

Brighton & Hove City Council have first identified two  assets that currently have vacant space to support this innovate approach. In this first tranche of opportunities, we are inviting expressions of interest (EOI) in:

  1. Lyndean House, 43-36 Queens Road, Brighton

  2. Phoenix House, 32 West Street, Brighton

This first round of opportunities is intended for established businesses and organisations that will in turn provide access to freelancers, individual artists and their networks.

Applicants will be expected to submit an EOI detailing their rental offer and ability to create a space that meets their needs, alongside their wider impact on the creative sector. Interested parties should submit their EOI by 2/10/26.
