Based in the heart of Brighton, Fabrica is an established arts organisation that invites visitors from all backgrounds to experience culture and creativity. Our year-round programme of events includes talks, group discussions, film screenings, performances, and community-led initiatives. With a growing emphasis on commercial ventures, Fabrica has become a hub for various events, including weddings, performances, corporate gatherings, generating vital funding to support its artistic endeavours.

We’re looking for a hands on, ambitious, energetic, and positive, Commercial Manager who can develop and implement a robust strategy for earned income, which is a vital part of shaping Fabrica’s future.

The successful candidate will oversee all commercial income generation activities, including venue hire operations, retail operations, and café bar management. Collaborating with the Co-Directors, Trustees, and others, they will develop and implement Fabrica’s Commercial Strategy. They will optimise venue hire operations for weddings, conferences, private parties, and corporate events, while ensuring seamless retail operations. Additionally, they will lead on the development of our workspace hire offer. This role involves supervising freelance event staff, conducting financial reporting, and implementing data capture mechanisms to evaluate commercial strategies effectively.
