Wellbeing & Resilience

17/07/2020 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Bringing together representatives from the arts with mental health experts, this roundtable explored theory, strategy & experience relating to our wellbeing in the face of the pandemic. Not only are we all dealing with the inherent anxiety born of a worldwide health crisis, but many of us working in the creative and cultural industries are juggling new working from home regimes, caring responsibilities and keeping our organisations afloat. Throughout this session our expert panel discussed finding space, time and techniques for crucial self-care and ways to manage pressures.

29/06/2020 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

This roundtable explored ways that those in the creative and cultural sectors are adapting in order to continue to make, sell and create in the face of Covid-19. There are no expectations of business as usual & very real practical, financial and emotional barriers. What does the future look like and what happens when people buy/sell locally & open up covid-safe spaces again for making and exhibiting? What do customers and audiences crave and need over the next few months? What positives does online creativity bring and how can people work together to minimise risk?
